Oil Takes Center Stage Again | Morning News

FEBRUARY 19.2016
US futures point to a modestly lower opening, snapping a three day winning streak as global market sell off with oil clearly in the headlights. Overnight, crude remained volatile, trading lower after yesterday's comment from a Saudi official stating that his country was not prepared to cut oil production. Adding pressure to the already weak commodity was the EIA data that showed a jump in petroleum inventories to record levels. Investors will keep their attention on the OPEC countries comments, as well as the Baker-Hughes rig count set to be reported today at 1PM EST.
